As part of its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), TAKA Group actively supports the “One Tree, One Thousand Breaths” program initiated by the ITB Class of 1989 in collaboration with the Citarum River Basin Authority (BBWS Citarum) of the Ministry of Public Works. This initiative was launched in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of ITB Class of 1989.

The program involves planting fruit trees in collaboration with the local community, carried out gradually from September to December 2019 in Batu Lonceng, West Bandung Regency. This location is recognized as the headwaters of the Cikapundung River, which also serves as one of the headwaters of the Citarum River.

The “One Tree, One Thousand Breaths” initiative is aligned with the Citarum Harum program promoted by both the Central Government and the West Java Provincial Government, aiming to restore the environment and improve the sustainability of the river ecosystem.
